The platform, operated by the Cyprus-based firm WGM Services Ltd., offered a simplified way for retail investors to speculate on the price movements of various assets, including currencies, commodities, indices, and stocks. The company gained initial prominence through sports sponsorships, including with AS Monaco FC and Everton FC. However, like much of the binary options industry, it faced intense regulatory scrutiny for its business practices, ultimately leading to the suspension and withdrawal of its license and the cessation of its operations.
