Information by Research Trustfinance
The Export-Import Bank of the United States is an independent executive branch agency with a mission to support American jobs by facilitating the export of U.S. goods and services. Established by executive order in 1934, EXIM helps American companies, particularly small businesses, compete in the global marketplace by providing financing tools when the private sector is unable or unwilling to do so. Its primary services include export credit insurance, working capital loan guarantees, and loan guarantees to international buyers, thereby mitigating the risks associated with international trade for U.S. exporters.
