Founded in 1977, European Reliance General Insurance Company S.A. grew to become one of the leading insurance companies in Greece, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. It offered a comprehensive portfolio of insurance products covering all modern needs, including life, health, property, casualty, and asset management. In August 2022, Allianz Group completed the acquisition of a majority stake in the company, subsequently integrating its operations into Allianz Greece to strengthen its market position in the country.
