Founded in 2014, ETFmatic was a digital wealth management platform designed to make passive investing accessible and affordable across Europe. As a "robo-advisor," it used algorithms to create and manage personalized investment portfolios for clients based on their risk tolerance and financial goals, primarily utilizing low-cost Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). In January 2021, ETFmatic was acquired by the digital bank Aion, and its technology and services were subsequently integrated into Aion Bank's platform. The original UK-based entity, ETFmatic Ltd, was dissolved following the acquisition.
