Originally founded in 2008 as the European Association of Independent Research Providers (Euro IRP), the organization was renamed Equity Research Association (trading as The Association of Independent Research Providers or AIRP) in 2022. Its mission is to promote the value of independent, conflict-free financial analysis to investors and regulators. The association represents its member firms by engaging with regulatory bodies, fostering professional standards, and creating a network for independent research providers across Europe.
