Founded in 1980, ELKARGI is a non-profit financial entity supervised by the Bank of Spain. Its primary mission is to improve the financing conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), self-employed professionals, and entrepreneurs. It achieves this by acting as a guarantor for its members, providing financial guarantees that reduce the risk for banks and other credit institutions, thereby making it easier and cheaper for businesses to secure loans and credit lines. In addition to guarantees, ELKARGI offers financial advisory services, debt restructuring, and access to alternative financing solutions.
