Founded in 1997, Edpyme Solidaridad y Desarrollo Empresarial S.A.C. is an "Entity for the Development of Small and Micro Enterprises" (Edpyme) operating in Peru. Its primary mission is to promote the economic and social development of micro and small business owners by providing them with accessible and timely financial services, mainly in the form of loans and credits. The company focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and contributing to the growth of a key sector of the Peruvian economy, operating under the supervision of the Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP (SBS) of Peru.
