duisenberg school of finance
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded in 2008 as a public-private partnership, the Duisenberg school of finance (DSF) was an independent, top-tier institute dedicated to finance education. Named in honor of Wim Duisenberg, the first President of the European Central Bank, its mission was to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice. The school offered several specialized MSc programs in finance. In 2015, after a strategic review, DSF ceased to operate as a separate entity and its activities were fully integrated into the existing finance programs of its founding academic partners, the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU).
