Dough was a brokerage app launched in 2019 by tastyworks, Inc. (now known as tastytrade, Inc.) to appeal to a younger generation of investors. Its mission was to make investing accessible and understandable through a simple, visually-driven interface, commission-free trading of stocks and ETFs, and educational content. The platform operated as a brand and service of its parent company, a registered broker-dealer. In April 2022, the Dough brand was discontinued, and all user accounts and services were fully migrated to the parent company's primary platform, tastytrade, which offers a more comprehensive suite of trading tools.
