Originally chartered in 1929 as the Detroit Municipal Credit Union to serve City of Detroit employees, Diversified Members Credit Union (DMCU) has since expanded its field of membership. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to improve the financial well-being of its members by returning profits in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. DMCU offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, and investment services.
