Founded in 1897 as "Diba boligkreditselskab," DiBa Bank A/S grew to become a significant regional bank in Denmark. It focused on providing comprehensive financial services, including loans, mortgages, savings, and advisory services to both private and business customers in its local area. In 2014, DiBa Bank was acquired by and fully merged into Sydbank, one of Denmark's largest banking groups. All of DiBanka's operations, branches, and customers were subsequently integrated into the Sydbank brand and network.
