Founded in 1999, Delmarva Bancshares, Inc. served as the holding company for The Bank of Delmarva. The bank provided a full range of commercial and consumer banking services, including deposit accounts, commercial loans, real estate mortgages, and consumer loans. Its mission was to be a leading, locally-focused financial institution serving the needs of individuals and businesses on the Delmarva Peninsula of Maryland and Delaware. In 2021, Delmarva Bancshares was acquired by and merged into LINKBANCORP, Inc., and its subsidiary, The Bank of Delmarva, was subsequently merged into LINKBANK.
