In return, the customer agreed to pay Cumulus a fixed percentage of their income for a predetermined number of years. This model was designed to create a partnership where payments would adjust based on the customer's earnings, providing flexibility compared to fixed-payment loans. However, the company ceased accepting new applications in 2019.
