crumbs app
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded by Patrick Mrozowski and Brendan Weinstein, Crumbs aimed to simplify cryptocurrency investing for beginners. The app functioned by linking to a user's bank account or credit card, rounding up their daily purchases to the nearest dollar, and automatically investing the accumulated "spare change" into a diversified portfolio of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. In 2019, the assets and technology of Crumbs were acquired by Metal Pay (a subsidiary of Metallicus, Inc.). Following the acquisition, the Crumbs app was discontinued, and its features and user base were expected to be integrated into the Metal Pay ecosystem.
