Originally chartered in 1969 for the employees of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Cross Valley Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. The credit union's mission is to provide quality financial services to its members while maintaining a strong financial foundation. It is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
