The State Agency for Deposit Insurance and Bank Resolution (DAB) is an independent Croatian public institution founded to protect depositors and maintain the stability of the financial system. Established in 1994 and operating independently since 1997, its core missions are to manage the deposit insurance system, which guarantees deposits up to €100,000 per depositor per credit institution, and to act as the national resolution authority, participating in the restructuring and resolution of failing credit institutions.
