Originally chartered in 1953 to serve the employees of Consumers Power Company (now Consumers Energy), CP Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by its members. Its mission is to work for the financial benefit of its members by providing competitive rates, lower fees, and a comprehensive suite of personal and business financial products, including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services. As a community-focused institution, membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the state of Michigan.
