Founded in 1985, the Council of Institutional Investors (CII) is a leading voice for effective corporate governance, strong shareowner rights, and vibrant, transparent, and fair capital markets. CII is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association whose members include major U.S. public, corporate, and union employee benefit funds, as well as endowments and foundations. Its associate members include non-U.S. asset owners and asset management firms.
