The firm specialized in complex, credit-focused strategies and offered services such as syndicated bank loan administration, CLO management, and administrative agency services. In March 2018, Cortland was acquired by Alter Domus, a global provider of Fund and Corporate Services, to expand its service offering and geographic reach, particularly in the United States. The Cortland brand and operations have since been fully integrated into Alter Domus.
