Founded in 1957, originally as the Sherwin-Williams Employees Federal Credit Union, the institution rebranded to Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union in 2002 to reflect its expanded community charter. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to serve as the primary financial institution for its members by offering a full range of personal and business banking services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and mortgages, with a focus on community development and member financial well-being.
