Cooperpoa (full name: Cooperativa de Economia e Crédito Mútuo dos Servidores Públicos Municipais de Porto Alegre Ltda.) is a non-profit financial institution founded in 1996. Supervised by the Central Bank of Brazil, its mission is to provide accessible and fair financial solutions, including loans, investments, and financial education, exclusively to its members—the municipal public servants of Porto Alegre. As a cooperative, it aims to promote the economic and social development of its community rather than generating profit for external shareholders.
