Founded on May 22, 1964, in Loja, Ecuador, the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Alfonso Jaramillo León (commonly known as "CAJA") is a financial institution operating under the principles of the Popular and Solidarity Economy. Supervised by the Superintendencia de Economía Popular y Solidaria (SEPS) of Ecuador, its mission is to contribute to the socio-economic development of its members and the community by providing accessible and efficient financial products and services, including savings accounts, various types of loans, and investments.
