Founded in 2008, CommunityWorks is a certified non-profit financial organization that provides financial education, lending, and investing to help build assets and create economic opportunities for underserved communities across South Carolina. As a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), it offers a range of services including small business loans, affordable mortgages, down payment assistance, financial coaching, and community development loans to empower individuals and strengthen local economies.
