Community & Southern Bank (CSB) was a Georgia-chartered bank headquartered in Atlanta, founded in 2010. Its business model focused on acquiring and recapitalizing struggling or failed banks in the southeastern United States following the 2008 financial crisis. Through numerous acquisitions, it grew rapidly to become one of the largest community banks in the region, offering a full suite of personal, business, and commercial banking services. In 2016, Community & Southern Bank was acquired by Bank of the Ozarks (which later rebranded to Bank OZK) in a deal valued at approximately $799.6 million, and its brand and operations were subsequently merged into the parent company.
