Community Housing Capital (CHC) is a national non-profit lender and certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) established in 2000. Its mission is to provide permanent and construction loan capital to create and preserve affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families. CHC serves as the exclusive lender for the NeighborWorks America network, channeling capital from investors, including major banks, to community development corporations that build, own, and manage affordable housing developments.
