Community Futures Peterborough is a community-based, non-profit organization funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). Its mission is to foster economic growth and job creation by providing local entrepreneurs and small businesses with access to capital (loans up to $250,000), free business counselling, and valuable resources. The organization focuses on supporting businesses that may have difficulty securing traditional financing, playing a crucial role in the start-up, expansion, and stabilization of local enterprises within its designated service area.
