Community Futures Northeastern Ontario is a Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) funded by the Government of Canada through FedNor. As a non-profit entity, its primary mission is to foster entrepreneurship and community economic development in rural and Northern Ontario. The organization provides entrepreneurs and small business owners with access to capital through business loans, offers free business counseling and coaching, and supports strategic community planning and socio-economic development projects to help create and maintain local jobs.
