Founded in 1948, the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson serves as a philanthropic vehicle for individuals, families, and organizations to support causes they care about in Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee Counties, Michigan. The Foundation's mission is to connect people who care with causes that matter to build a permanent source of charitable funds for the community. It manages over 500 individual charitable funds, investing the principal and using the earnings to award grants to local non-profits and provide scholarships to students, thereby addressing a wide range of community needs now and for generations to come.
