Community Financial Literacy (CFL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to empower individuals and families in Maine to achieve financial stability and build assets. They provide a range of free or low-cost services, including one-on-one financial counseling, educational workshops on topics like budgeting and credit, and free tax preparation services through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. CFL focuses on helping community members navigate financial challenges, improve their financial well-being, and work towards long-term economic security.
