The company specialized in providing comprehensive test tools, certification services, and consultancy for EMV chip cards, mobile payments (NFC), and electronic transaction systems. Their clients included major financial institutions, payment schemes (like Visa and Mastercard), and technology vendors worldwide. In 2012, Collis was acquired by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) to form the core of its Transaction Security division. This division was later divested from UL and is now known as the independent company Fime.
