CoinFlux
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded in 2015 by Vlad Nistor in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, CoinFlux was a cryptocurrency exchange platform that aimed to provide a fast and secure way for users, primarily in Romania and Europe, to trade digital assets like Bitcoin, Ether, and Litecoin using fiat currencies (RON and EUR). The company grew to become one of the largest exchanges in the region. However, in 2018, the company's operations were frozen and its founder was arrested as part of an international investigation into money laundering. Unable to recover from the legal and operational challenges, CoinFlux officially announced the permanent closure of its platform in early 2020.
