Clonakilty Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that has been serving its members since 1968. As a cooperative, it is owned and controlled by its members—the people who save with and borrow from the credit union. Its mission is to promote the financial well-being of its members by providing a safe place for savings and access to affordable credit. In 2017, it merged with Dunmanway Credit Union, expanding its common bond and services to a wider community in the West Cork region.
