Clarity Money
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2016 by Adam Dell, Clarity Money was a financial technology company that provided a free mobile application designed to empower users to make smarter financial decisions. The app aggregated users' financial accounts, analyzed their spending habits, identified and canceled unwanted subscriptions, and provided actionable insights to help them save money. In 2018, Goldman Sachs acquired Clarity Money for a reported $100 million to bolster the consumer-facing features of its digital banking platform, Marcus. The features and team were integrated into Marcus, and the standalone Clarity Money app was officially discontinued in March 2021.
