Originally chartered in 1935 as the Cincinnati Bell Employee’s Credit Union, the organization rebranded in 2005 to Cintel Federal Credit Union to reflect its expanded membership from Cincinnati Bell and its various spinoffs and subsidiaries. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, Cintel's mission is to return profits to its members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer service fees. It offers a range of personal banking products, including savings and checking accounts, auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
