The Nederlandse Vereniging van Participatiemaatschappijen (NVP), also associated with the name Centrum voor Risicodragend Kapitaal (CVC), is the official industry association for private equity and venture capital firms in the Netherlands. Founded in 1984, the NVP's mission is to promote a healthy investment climate for its members and the wider industry. It represents over 90% of private equity and venture capital under management in the country, acting as a key advocate and point of contact for government bodies, policymakers, press, and other stakeholders. The association focuses on professionalization, research, and representing the collective interests of the sector.
