Founded in 1963, Central Credit Union of Florida is a not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to serving its members. As a member-owned institution, its primary purpose is to promote thrift and provide a source of credit and other financial services at fair and reasonable rates. Unlike a traditional bank, profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and improved services. The credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
