Established in 1968, the Catholic Development Fund, Diocese of Bathurst (CDF) serves as the treasury for the Diocese of Bathurst. Its primary mission is to raise funds through savings and investment products offered to parishioners, schools, and diocesan entities. These funds are then used to provide finance for capital expenditures and other pastoral initiatives within the Diocese, such as building and maintaining schools, churches, and other community facilities.
