Established in 1996, Cardiff & Vale Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution dedicated to serving its local community. As a co-operative, it is run by its members, for its members, with a mission to promote financial well-being by providing accessible savings accounts and fair, affordable loans. Unlike traditional banks, any profits generated are returned to members through dividends or reinvested to improve services, rather than being paid to external shareholders. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works within Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan.
