Originally chartered in 1954, Capital City Press Federal Credit Union was a non-profit, member-owned financial institution primarily serving the employees of the Capital City Press newspaper in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a credit union, its mission was to provide its members with competitive rates on savings, checking, loans, and other financial services. In a strategic move to offer members a wider array of services, branches, and resources, Capital City Press Federal Credit Union officially merged with Neighbors Federal Credit Union on August 1, 2016. All operations and member accounts were consolidated under the Neighbors FCU brand, which continues to serve the greater Baton Rouge community.
