Capital Area Finance Authority (CAFA) is a public trust and a unit of government created under the Louisiana Public Trust Code. Its mission is to foster economic development, provide affordable housing, and enhance the quality of life within its nine-parish service area. CAFA achieves this by issuing tax-exempt and taxable bonds to finance a wide range of projects, including economic development, industrial and commercial facilities, healthcare, education, and housing.
