Established in 1961 as Mid-Canada Acceptance Corp., it became a federally regulated bank, Canadian Tire Bank, in 2003. CTFS's primary mission is to enhance the customer experience and drive loyalty across the Canadian Tire family of brands. Its core business revolves around issuing and managing the Triangle™ Mastercard® credit cards, which are integrated into the Triangle Rewards™ loyalty program.
