Its mission is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of Canada's capital markets by fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The CCMA focuses on identifying and resolving issues that hinder straight-through-processing (STP) and has been instrumental in major industry initiatives, such as the transition to T+1 securities settlement, to streamline operations and reduce risk.
