The Canadian Alternative Investment Cooperative is a national, for-profit investment co-operative founded in 2021. It pools capital from both accredited and retail investors across Canada to provide financing in the form of loans and equity investments to social enterprises, non-profits, and other co-operatives. CAIC's mission is to build a more just, sustainable, and inclusive economy by empowering its members to invest in organizations that generate positive social and environmental impact.
