Founded on January 4, 1982, Caja Piura was the first municipal savings and credit bank (CMAC) established in Peru. Its primary mission is to promote financial inclusion and decentralization of credit by providing accessible financial products and services to segments of the population not typically served by traditional banking, such as micro-entrepreneurs and small business owners.
