Brokerjet was a pioneering online brokerage service launched by Erste Group Bank AG, one of the largest financial services providers in Central and Eastern Europe. It operated primarily in Austria and the CEE region, offering private investors a platform to trade stocks, funds, bonds, and other securities. In late 2015, Erste Group announced the closure of the Brokerjet platform, citing the high investment costs required to comply with upcoming MiFID II regulations. The service was officially discontinued, and its clients were migrated to Erste Group's new, integrated trading platform named "George".
