Broadmark Real Estate Management III, LLC was a management entity associated with Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. (formerly NYSE: BRMK), a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT). The parent company specialized in underwriting, funding, servicing, and managing a portfolio of short-term, first deed of trust loans for the construction, development, or acquisition of residential and commercial real estate. Operating as a "hard money" lender, they provided financing solutions to builders and developers often underserved by traditional lenders. In May 2023, Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. was acquired by and merged with Ready Capital Corporation (NYSE: RC), and now operates as part of the Ready Capital platform.
