BookExpo America
Information by Research Trustfinance
BookExpo America (BEA) was the premier trade event for the North American publishing industry, serving as a dynamic marketplace for publishers, booksellers, librarians, authors, and industry professionals to connect, conduct business, and discover new titles. Organized by ReedPop (a division of RX), the event's history spanned over a century, providing a critical platform for rights negotiations, marketing, and networking. In December 2020, the organizers announced that due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving industry needs, both BookExpo and its consumer-facing counterpart, BookCon, would be retired permanently as they explore new ways to serve the book community.
