BNI Madagascar is a major banking institution with a long history in the country, originally established as a branch of the French bank Crédit Lyonnais in 1919. It became a Malagasy-owned bank in 1991 and is now the country's first fully private Malagasy bank. Since 2014, BNI Madagascar has been a subsidiary of the AXIAN Group, focusing on supporting the national economy through financing projects and providing modern banking solutions, including digital banking services, to a diverse clientele across the island.
