Founded as a community bank, BNC National Bank (formerly Bank of North Carolina) grew to become a significant financial institution serving communities across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The bank focused on providing a comprehensive suite of financial products, including personal and business banking, treasury management, mortgage lending, and wealth management. In 2017, BNC National Bank was acquired by and merged with Pinnacle Financial Partners, a Nashville-based bank.
