Founded in 2018, BLCK VC was established to address the underrepresentation of Black individuals in the venture capital industry. The organization's core mission is to increase the number of Black investors and partners by providing a supportive community, educational programs, and career development opportunities. Through initiatives like the Black Venture Institute, Breaking into Venture fellowship, and various networking events, BLCK VC aims to dismantle structural barriers and create a more equitable and inclusive venture capital ecosystem.
